Seasons & Weather

The announced cycle is Summer → Autumn → Winter → Spring, 10 in-game days per season. Outdoor weather and your body temperature are separate readings. When the body-temperature icon turns blue and the freezing warning appears, use a burning heat source; a roofed building or vehicle interior warms you more slowly.

Cycle and outdoor weather

Each season lasts 10 in-game days and blends into the next near its end. Rain or snow depends on conditions; winter begins with snow, has long snowfall and short clear spells. The upper-right panel shows season and outdoor weather, not your body-temperature status.

The body-temperature icon is a permanent lower-left status, white when normal and blue when freezing. The announcement calls 36–38°C normal and says Freezing begins below 10°C body temperature and drains HP. Read the top-right outdoor value separately.

Act before the warning persists

Store fuel before winter, keep a roofed return point, and head back when body heat starts falling. If a placed fire is not warming you, confirm that it is actually burning. The winter guide lays out the full response sequence.
